Great mix of Black metal and Sludge metal, which starts off very slow and plodding like typical Sludge and Doom, but gradually picks up and turns into an atmospheric onslaught of both main genres. Very apocalyptic and sinister feeling which gives the album a lot of personality and depth. Overall I feel it's a bit long for what it is, and some parts drag on more than they should but still a great and absorbing album to get sucked into for the atmosphere alone.
