Kind of in love with this album right now. This is a 4 man band from Australia playing Dream Pop, Indie Rock and Post-Punk. It's an extremely catchy and happy-feel-good album, reminding me a lot of Two Door Cinema Club's debut, some Vampire Weekend other similar bands, but definitely with an obvious Post-Punk influence, although not dark at all compared to what we usually hear with that genre. All these songs are fairly short, never really venturing over the 4 minute mark, so having quick spurts of energy and good vibes constantly coming at me, I rarely feel bored or tired of this album. A few songs are a bit weak in comparison to many of the really strong ones, but not enough to take away from the overall feel of the album. This is a great summer album with standout singles to blast like The Best of Friends, Foreign Time and Halcyon which stands as one of my favorite tracks of the year so far. If you're looking for some bright, fun and colorful Indie with that slight 80s vibe to it, give this album a spin.
